ABOUT ME
Hello and welcome. I'm Emma—the heart behind Connection Alchemy.
If you're anything like me, you've felt the frustration of relationships that loop endlessly in the same painful patterns—longing for deeper intimacy, clearer communication, and genuine connection, yet unsure exactly how to break through.
Back in 2016, a painful breakup became my wake-up call. Until then, I'd expressed myself through provocative sculptures and art exploring human sexuality, self-expression, and vulnerability. Yet beneath the surface, I struggled deeply to communicate my true feelings and needs, often unconsciously resorting to emotional manipulation, self victimisation and blame — behaviours rooted in my own fears of rejection, abandonment, and vulnerability.
That breakup introduced me to Nonviolent Communication (NVC), and everything shifted. Watching Marshall Rosenberg speak for the first time, I felt a profound sense of relief. It wasn't about giving myself permission to remain stuck in my patterns—it was realizing just how deeply human we all are. This insight gave me compassion for my own messy humanity and the courage to take genuine responsibility for how I was showing up. It offered me hope that I could truly learn, grow, and find a healthier way to relate interdependently.
I dove headfirst into NVC, mindfulness, attachment theory and more recently the practices of Tantra and Circling AKA Transformational Connection. Each practice offered a different lens on relating and presence, yet they all led back to the same powerful truth: connection thrives in honesty, compassion, gentle curiosity, and clear responsibility.
But let me be clear—I haven't "arrived" anywhere perfectly complete. I'm still beautifully human, still making mistakes, and still growing. What excites me most about this work is exploring the magic of our shared humanity—the ongoing dance between vulnerability and courage, between imperfection and deep authenticity.
Today, Connection Alchemy is my invitation to you: a space to explore relationships that feel honest, alive, and deeply fulfilling, exactly as we are.
If this resonates, I'm genuinely glad you're here. Let's explore together.
