Workshops, Mediation, Coaching & Relational Support

Nature of the Work

My workshops, mediation, and one-to-one coaching or relational support sessions are not psychotherapy.

This work can involve emotional exploration. You may be invited to reflect on your feelings, thoughts, needs, relational patterns, communication habits, and past experiences. At times, this can bring forward difficult or intense emotions.

If you are currently navigating a particularly sensitive, unstable, or overwhelming period in your life, I ask that you let me know in advance. This allows us to work in a way that feels respectful, appropriate, and as well-held as possible for your circumstances.

Your wellbeing matters. You are always responsible for your own participation and for choosing how deeply to engage in any exercise, reflection, or conversation.

By participating, you acknowledge that this work may bring up strong emotions and personal material, and that you take responsibility for your own participation and choices within the process. While I am committed to holding this work with care, honesty, and integrity, I cannot accept liability for distress, loss, or outcomes arising from participation.

If something feels uncomfortable, difficult, or misaligned, I genuinely want to hear from you. Discomfort is not dismissed here. Feedback, concerns, and reflection are always welcome.

Approach & Experience

My work is deeply informed by Nonviolent Communication, embodiment, mediation skills, and relational awareness.

I draw on many years of personal practice, professional training, and lived experience in these areas. My work is also influenced by other relational and reflective approaches, including coaching, circling, somatic awareness, Internal Family Systems, and attachment theory.

Rather than working rigidly within one single model, I hold a more fluid and human relational approach, drawing on different frameworks where they feel supportive and appropriate. The humanness, responsiveness, and relational honesty of the work are more important to me than adhering strictly to one particular methodology or structure.

This means that while my work is informed by a range of approaches, it may not always look or sound explicitly recognisable as any one particular framework. What matters most to me is that the space is held with integrity, care, respect, honesty, clarity, accountability, empathy, and a willingness to receive impact.

I take feedback seriously. If someone feels unsure, uncomfortable, or dissatisfied with the way I am holding space, I welcome that honesty. Feedback is part of how my practice grows in clarity, humility, and integrity. I regularly review the work with long-term clients, and I value the way honest reflection can deepen trust, strengthen our working relationship, and support learning on both sides.

Services & What to Expect

Workshops & Trainings

Workshops and trainings are designed to offer learning, reflection, practice, and new ways of understanding communication and relational patterns.

They may support greater awareness, new skills, deeper self-reflection, and shifts in how you relate to yourself and others. However, attending a workshop does not guarantee immediate or lasting change in communication, confidence, or relational outcomes.

Communication patterns are often shaped over many years. Insight is often only one part of change. Practice, reflection, support, and time are usually needed for learning to become integrated and embodied in daily life.

One-to-One Coaching & Relational Support

One-to-one sessions are tailored to your needs and may include reflection, emotional support, skill-building, relational inquiry, self-awareness practices, and communication guidance.

These sessions are intended to support clarity, honesty, self-connection, and more conscious relationship to yourself and others. However, I cannot guarantee a specific emotional, relational, or practical outcome from this work.

Change in communication and relationship patterns often takes time and is influenced by many factors, including your own circumstances, nervous system capacity, past experiences, and the realities of the relationships involved.

Mediation & Supported Dialogue

Mediation is a facilitated process designed to support dialogue, mutual understanding, clearer communication, and where possible, meaningful agreements.

My role in mediation is to support a fair and respectful process for everyone involved. I do not take sides, determine who is right or wrong, or guarantee that one person will fully understand or respond in the way another most wants.

Even when mediation is held with care, structure, and integrity, this does not guarantee relational repair, agreement, or emotional resolution. In mediation, it is important to distinguish between the quality of the facilitation and the outcome between participants.

Session Agreements

After an initial conversation, we will agree together on the service that best suits your needs.

For coaching or mediation processes, I usually suggest beginning with a minimum of six sessions unless otherwise agreed. This allows space for reflection, integration, and meaningful progress.

The number of sessions needed will vary depending on:

  • the depth and complexity of the situation

  • your commitment to reflection and practice

  • the relational dynamics involved

  • the pace at which change and integration are possible

While I may offer an estimate based on experience, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Change is influenced by many variables, some of which are beyond either of our control.

Fees

Inclusion and sustainability are both important to me.

I offer a sliding scale for most services in order to support accessibility while maintaining a viable practice.

Please choose a rate within the range that feels responsible and sustainable for you. Those who pay at the higher end of the scale help make lower-cost or pro bono spaces possible for others.

If finances are a barrier, please contact me so we can explore possible options.
